All newspaper articles are from Anno - AustriaN Newspapers Online (German Link only), the online database of the Austrian National Library.
Other valuable sources are the digital reading room of the Austrian National Library, Austrian Books Online, as well as e-rara, the platform for digitized prints from Swiss institutions and the Munich Digitization Center (MDZ) with the holdings from the Bavarian State Library.
Also a very good source for digitized books is the Vienna City Library in the City Hall of the City of Vienna.
Google Books: Address books, trademark registers, various reports, books on patent rights, trade regulations, factory rights, tools in general, tool collections, etc.
General information about the history of the city of Vienna can be found in the great project Wien Geschichte Wiki (German link only), based on the 6-volume work "Historisches Lexikon Wien" (2nd edition 2004) by Felix Czeike. The world of the Habsburgs of Schönbrunn Palace cultural and business .m.b.H., Vienna, offers a comprehensive overview of the Habsburg monarchy.
